Carolina Latour Musso

Carolina Latour Musso began her legal career in the Miami office of a large, global law firm, where she specialized in commercial litigation and international arbitration. She then served as an associate at a boutique litigation firm and handled a variety of litigation, appellate, and intellectual property matters. She has significant experience representing companies and individuals in both state and federal courts.

Carolina received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from The George Washington University School of Law. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Carolina is a Miami native and is fluent in Spanish.

Representative Litigation

  • Represented operator of cruise ship jewelry boutiques in a case involving a mistaken price quote for a 20-carat diamond. After a weeklong trial where the jury found in favor of the client, the plaintiff appealed. In a unanimous en banc decision, the Third District Court of Appeal found in favor of the client and clarified the law in Florida relating to unilateral mistake.
  • Obtained summary judgment in dispute between a former officer and director of client corporation and the current officers and directors.
  • Favorably settled copyright infringement action in federal court against global, publicly traded company client.
  • Represented prominent local university in various litigation and intellectual property matters.
