Lauren Kain Whaley is a seasoned litigator who draws on her extensive background in government and private practice to counsel companies and individuals in litigation, pre-litigation, and investigative matters.  Her depth and breadth of experience in high stakes matters allow her to bring a focused, aggressive, and efficient approach to each matter.

Lauren has served as lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials across a wide variety of civil and criminal cases.

After graduating from George Washington University Law School, Lauren moved to Miami to represent indigent members of our community and gain unparalleled trial experience at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. After nearly five years in this position, Lauren moved to private practice to focus on complex commercial litigation at a Miami based prestigious boutique law firm.

Before joining Rennert Vogel Mandler & Rodriguez, P.A., Lauren worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Miami.  She served as lead counsel in class action cases and diverse litigation involving contracts, real estate, land use/zoning, historic preservation, transportation, insurance, government taxes and fees, procurement, licensing, construction, and torts in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.  Lauren successfully represented the City in several jury trials.  Most recently, Lauren served as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she focused on employment, personnel, housing discrimination, enforcement, and investigative matters.
